A jorney in the old viticulture Heart of Salento.
Cupertinum is one of the oldest and largest wine cooperatives in Salento, located in the Copertino area, halfway between the Ionian and Adriatic seas. Founded in 1935 by thirty-six growers aiming to enhance cooperation and directly manage vinification and wine marketing, today it has 300 members cultivating approximately 300 hectares of vineyards. The winery combines tradition and innovation to produce intense and generous wines, mainly based on Negroamaro, alongside Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Bianca, and other native varieties.
