ACINE is a white wine produced by the Francesco Taurino Sas company. Produced from Verdeca grapes grown in the countryside of Guagnano on medium-textured calcareous and clayey soils, ideal for the production of the typical Salento white-berry vine.
ACINE is a straw yellow colored wine with greenish reflections. The nose is medium-fruity with a hint of green apple and a tropical fruit finish. In the mouth, it is balanced and has a pleasant freshness and acidity that make it pleasantly drinkable.
The espalier-grown grapes with a density of 4800 plants per hectare. The harvest is done manually in the first ten days of September and the grapes are collected in boxes and taken to the cellar for white vinification with destemming. Then a soft pressing followed by fermentation at a temperature of 10°C. Once fermentation is complete, it is left to rest in stainless steel tanks and then bottled.
