History and Production
Barocco Reale is a wine that expresses the richness of the Leverano terroir. Made from Primitivo grapes grown using the traditional bush vine and spurred cordon system, the wine is produced with a careful selection of the best bunches. After fermentation in steel, the wine is aged in French oak barriques for a minimum of 12 months. This wood aging process provides the Primitivo with greater softness, complexity, and longevity, while maintaining the intense and classic aromas of the grape variety.
