Barocco Reale is a wine produced by Cantina Vecchia Torre from 100% primitivo grapes grown in the countryside of Leverano (Le). The plants are bred with the Apulian sapling system with spurred cordon in soils of alluvial origin, with medium-textured soil and areas tending to calcareous with a planting density of 5000-6000 plants per hectare and a yield per final hectare of 70 tons of grapes. The vinification takes place after a careful selection of the best bunches and their crushing-destemming. The must ferments in steel tanks for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 24-26 ° C. At the end of fermentation the wine stays in French oak barrels for at least 12 months.
Barocco Reale is a wine with a dark purple red color, with intense classic aromas of primitive that release hints of well-ripe red fruits. The taste is warm, robust and slightly soft
