CANTALUPI Negroamaro IGP Salento is a red wine produced by the Conti Zecca winery in Leverano (Lecce_Puglia/Italy). Produced with Negroamaro and Black Malvasia of Lecce grapes spurred cordon in vineyards on soils of alluvial origin, medium mixture with areas tending to calcareous, in the territory of Salice Salentino (Lecce). The grapes undergo a destemming and soft crushing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Maceration for 10 days at a temperature of 25-28 ° C. Finally, maturation in cement tanks coated with food epoxy resins.
CANTALUPI Negroamaro is characterized by an intense ruby red color, tending to assume with the aging pleasant garnet reflections. It has an intense fruit aroma with spicy notes. On the palate, it gives off a velvety, harmonious, rightly tannic flavor. To be served at a temperature of 18 ° C.
