Tenute Eméra Chardonnay is produced from 100% chardonnay grapes obtained from spurred cordon vineyards inside the Tenute Eméra farm owned by the Claudio Quarta Vignaiolo group, located between the Lizzano and Pulsano marinas. The vines are grown on medium-textured soil, with the presence of silica, clay and sand and abundant skeleton (stones, pebbles and gravel). The yield per hectare is equal to 150 q.
The harvest starts in the second decade of August with the mechanically harvested grapes followed by the white vinification and fermentation in steel tanks for about 10 days at controlled temperature. The wine finally rests and ages in bottle for a few months.
Tenute Emèra Chardonnay is a straw yellow wine with rich fruit notes and a soft and balanced taste.
