The Red Wine of Italy COLLEZIONE CINQUANTA of the Cantina San Marzano comes from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes grown in Alberello Pugliese vineyards of an age of not less than 50 years (4,500 per hectare). Vineyards are located in the municipality of San Marzano.

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in September. Following the harvest, the fermentation phase takes place in stainless steel tanks after the destemming-crushing phase, with a pre-fermentative cold maceration and subsequent start of the alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Final drawing off with soft presses. Vinification continues with malolactic fermentation in steel followed by a stay in French oak barrels for 12 months.

The COLLEZIONE CINQUANTA is characterized by a ruby ​​red colour with purple reflections. Intense and complex bouquet with fruity notes of plum and jam. Spicy tertiary scents that recall vanilla and liquorice. On the palate, it is intense, of great structure and softness, long finish.
