COLOMITO red wine produced by the Sanchirico winery based in Salice Salentino (Lecce_Puglia/Italy).

COLOMITO is the most important wine produced by the Sanchirico winery. A wine produced with selected grapes obtained from vineyards managed with the utmost care, a blend of Negroamaro and Black Malvasia. The grapes, sourced from vineyards in the Salice Salentino area, were harvested manually in September and carefully selected before crushing. The must carry out a long maceration on the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for more than 20 days, to then carry out the malolactic fermentation. Then, the wine thus obtained is aged for 12 months in small barrels, before being bottled and refining in the bottle for a further 12 months.

COLOMITO is a Salice Salentino DOP of the breed, with a beautiful intense ruby ​​red color that has slight garnet reflections. The nose releases a very intense and persistent aroma, fruity with hints of ripe red fruit. In the mouth, it has a fine but robust and decisive taste, elegant on the palate, characterized by a note of cocoa and tobacco.
