FIANO Salento IGT by Schola Sarmenti is a white wine produced with 100% Fiano grapes harvested from plants with an average age of 10-15 years. Product in Nardò (Lecce_Puglia, Italy). The vines are characterized by a Guyot training system.
The harvest is carried out by manually harvesting the grapes, which are then placed gently in small ventilated boxes to preserve their integrity. In the winery, they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. Following a white vinification at a controlled temperature and then ageing in steel before being bottled.
FIANO is produced with a noble taste grape. Its aromas are unmistakable and follow one another in a fragrant dance from the fresh scents of acacia flowers to the inevitable aroma of toasted hazelnuts. In the mouth, the wine presents a fresh taste with accents of mineral notes that fade into a savoury finish with good persistence and a finish with a noble, harmonious and balanced taste.
FIANO is a wine that goes perfectly with menus based on fish, raw fish, white first courses, second courses of white meats, fresh and blue cheeses, fresh vegetables, salads, risottos, cream and fruit desserts.
