Fiano is a wine produced by Masseria Altemura obtained from grapes grown on its estate, which extends within the production area of the Primitivo di Manduria DOC, in the countryside of Santa Susanna, and collects in one place a ancient 16th century Masseria, the cellar, designed according to the principles of bio-architecture, and the wonderful vineyards that surround it.
The harvest is carried out in the first week of September when the grapes are perfectly ripe, and then they are gently pressed and the must is separated with soft lung presses. The wine ferments for 7/10 days in stainless steel tanks at an average temperature of 18 ° C and rests on the fine lees for 2/3 months. A period of refinement in the bottle follows.
In the glass it shows a beautiful intense straw yellow color. The scent on the nose reveals pleasant notes of yellow pulp fruit and white flowers. In the mouth the flavor is in perfect balance between intensity, freshness and minerality, in a measured body. On the palate the sensations of fruits and flowers perceived on the nose return, in perfect taste-olfactory continuity.
Pairing: Ideal with tasty Mediterranean fish dishes or with dishes based on legumes.
