GALATEA Rosato Negroamaro DOP from the Fiorentino Winery of Galatina (Lecce_Puglia). It is an organic, rosé wine produced from Negroamaro grapes produced in the Galatina countryside. Traditionally, rosé wine has always been one of the most important wines produced in this area.  The soil on which the vine that will then give the bunches to produce this red wine is grown is of medium loose texture. and the vine training system is spurred cordon with a yield of 80 ql per hectare and a total production of about 10,000 bottles/year. The vinification is a red vinification with a maceration and a fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in steel and in the bottle.

Galatea DOC Galatina Rosato has coral pink shades typical of traditional Salento rosé wines. The nose is complex, with floral and fruity notes reminiscent of rose and pomegranate. In the mouth it is very fresh and savory, balanced and harmonious. Excellent accompaniment to tomato-based Mediterranean dishes.

Pairing: Aperitif, fish starters and first courses (if served fresh), meat starters and first courses (if drunk at a higher temperature).
