Giocoliere is a rosé wine produced from Primitivo grapes from the Cantina Sociale di Melissano. The GIocoliere is a surprising wine, above all because it uses a vine such as the Primitivo in a land of Salento, where for centuries the rosé has been synonymous with Negroamaro. A Rosato then produced in purity from grapes of the Primitivo variety grown as saplings from vineyards in the area of ​​Melissano, Taviano and Racale in the southwestern part of the Salento peninsula.

The grapes are harvested at the end of August and vinified in red with fermentation maceration for 12 hours. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and refining is carried out in stainless steel tanks. A slight maturation of a few months in the bottle follows.

For a first visual analysis it is clear, with a bright cherry red color with slightly garnet reflections. The consistency is good with a high body. On the nose it presents a bouquet of ripe fruit, strawberries, cherries and apricot. In the mouth it is slightly acidic, but also pleasant to the point of being even soft after the second sip. 13-degree rosé wine that explodes in the mouth, leaving a very long persistence.
