IL 150 Rosso Negroamaro Salento IGP is produced from grapes harvested in mid-September from soils located 100 meters above sea level and with a limestone-clay structure. The grapes are produced from plants of about 20 years and with an espalier training system that has a plant density of about 6000 plants / hectare and with a production of about 90 quintals per hectare with a wine yield of 65% .
Once the grapes have been harvested, soft pressing is carried out which preserves the fruity and floral taste at low temperatures with brief contact of the must with the skins for about 10 – 12 hours. This is followed by about two weeks of slow fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel tanks in which refinement is completed. After three months resting in steel, it is bottled.
IL 150 Rosato Susumaniello Salento IGP has a lively coral pink color. The scent is fruity and floral with hints of pomegranate, lychee, strawberry and rose. In the mouth it is fresh, delicate with a marked minerality and flavor.
