History and Winemaking

Produced in the heart of the Leverano DOP by the historic cooperative Cantina Vecchia Torre (founded in 1959). The wine matures in oak barrels for at least a year, followed by further aging in the bottle, a process that gives it spicy notes and great personality. The winery’s name derives from the ancient medieval tower in the municipality of Leverano.
