LIRICA Primitivo di Manduria DOP is produced by the Consortium of Wine Producers of Manduria (Taranto_Puglia/Italy).
LIRICA is produced from grapes harvested by hand from 20-50-year-old vines planted with Apulian sapling and espalier in the area of Manduria. The red vinification takes place at the end of August, after the harvest and soft crushing of the grapes, with thermo-conditioning of the fermentation process in stainless steel vats. Later LIRICA follows aging for 9 months in large barrels and finally rests in the bottle.
LIRICA Primitivo with an organoleptic test presents a ruby red color with garnet nuances. The aroma is intense and complex, of ripe red-fleshed fruits (cherry, raspberry, blackberry), in a balanced fusion with hints of toasted wood. On the palate, the taste is dry, warm, soft, tannic and persistent. In the mouth, it fully recalls the olfactory sensations.
