Maiana Salice Salentino DOP is a red wine produced with Negroamaro and Malvasia nera di Lecce grapes grown with Apulian sapling in vines in the Salice Salentino area (Lecce). The grapes are harvested manually at the end of September. The carefully selected grapes ferment in the presence of skins at a controlled temperature (22 – 24 ° C) for at least 10 days. After drawing off, malolactic fermentation and aging in oak barrels for around 6 months follows.
Characterized by a ruby red color. It has a fragrance characterized by fruity notes (plum) that blend well with spicy vanilla notes. The palate releases a full, soft taste with a slightly bitter finish. To be served at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
