Malvasia Bianca Salento IGP made by Tenute Rubino  is a white wine produced with white Malvasia grapes grown on spurred cordon in vines on medium-textured soils in the territory of Brindisi in Puglia. It is a rich, full-bodied and persistent wine, striking for its floral and fruity complexity, which make it particularly pleasant.

The harvest takes place in the first ten days of September. Then the vinification takes place with extraction in a soft press and fermentation in steel tanks, at controlled temperature. Finally, the wine rests for a few months in the bottle.

Malvasia Bianca Salento IGP is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose pèresenta with a rich and intense bouquet, with floral hints alternating with fruity notes of white and yellow berry fruits such as apple, peach, apricots and almond. In the mouth it is soft, full and savory, typical characteristics of the grape variety in the Brindisi area.

PAIRING: Dishes based on fish such as homemade seafood, linguine with scampi, but also orecchiette with turnip greens, tagliolini with cherry tomatoes and arugula, stuffed squid, grilled swordfish. Interesting as an aperitif and combined with the most varied Mediterranean culinary traditions.
