MIRAGLIO Negroamaro Brindisi DOP of Tenute Rubino winery in Brindisi (Puglia/Italy). Produced with Negroamaro grapes spurred cordon in vines on medium-textured soils in the Brindisi area.
The harvest takes place in the second decade of September. Then the fermentation in steel takes place, the maceration for twelve days, at a controlled temperature. Aging for 5 months in 40 Hl French wooden vats and then in bottle for 4 months.
MIRAGLIO Negroamaro is characterized by a brilliant ruby red color. Presents an aroma of ethereal and enveloping notes of cherry in alcohol, plum, blackberry, currant, impeccably integrated with clear nuances of black pepper, tobacco, liquorice, thyme, rosemary, leather and juniper. On the palate it releases a warm and elegant taste, shows fullness and a well-dosed alcoholic structure, resulting in velvety and harmonious, long and persistent, rich in gentle and smooth tannins. To be served at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
