MJERE Rosso Salento IGP – Michele Calò e Figli: MJERE Rosso is a pure expression of **100% Negroamaro**, sourced from the red, medium-textured sandy soils of the Tuglie, Sannicola, and Alezio municipalities. It is an elegant and complex red wine, obtained through a **long maceration (7-8 days)** and a balanced aging process: **70% in stainless steel** and **30% in small, fine oak barrels** for about 12 months. It features a **ruby red color** with garnet reflections and a dry, soft, persistent taste, with the typical varietal **bitter almond aftertaste**.
