NEGROAMARO Salento from Vecchia Torre Winery is a red wine that will amaze you with its power, structure, body and elegance.

NEGROAMARO Salento is produced with Negroamaro grapes from vines located around Leverano on alluvial, deep, medium-textured soils with areas that tend to be calcareous. The yield per hectare is 80-90 quintals of grapes and the vineyards are cultivated with the Apulian sapling and spurred cordon training system with a plant density of 4500-5000 plants per hectare. The wine is vinified after destemming of the grapes (without crushing) with the must which ferments in contact with the skins for 6-7 days at a temperature of 24-25 ° C. The vinification follows with a period of aging of the wine partly in oak barrique and part in steel. It is a wine that has an ageing capacity: 3 and more years according to harvest.

The NEGROAMARO Salento Vecchia Torre has an impenetrable ruby red color. The aroma is broad and persistent with perceptible hints of cherry and vanilla notes. In the mouth, it is sapid, full-bodied, round with soft and balanced tannins.

An extremely strong and decisive wine, but with a grace and a charm that you do not expect in a bottle of this price. Try it throughout the meal to brighten up your evenings with friends or the big party dinners.
