The Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni is a wine produced with Primitivo grapes at least 60 years old in the municipality of San Marzano di San Giuseppe in Manduria from selected vineyards in Neviera and Casa Rossa. The harvest is carried out in the second half of August, beginning of September with harvesting of the grapes by hand, in small vats. This is followed by an 18-day maceration on 80% of the mass, 25 days on 20% (with indigenous yeasts selected in the vineyard on selected material of different types). Temperature controlled fermentation at 24-26 ° C. Aging for 6 months in French oak barrels

Characterized by a very intense and elegant ruby red color. It has a broad and complex aroma, fruity with hints of plum, cherry jam and hints of tobacco, slightly spicy. On the palate this wine is full-bodied, soft and rich in noble tannins, with a finish that gives notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla. To be served at a temperature of 18 ° C.
