Salento Winemaking
Susumaniello is an ancient indigenous vine from Salento. The grapes are harvested in mid-September, destemmed, and macerated for about a week at 22-24°C. The wine then rests in steel and French oak barriques.
Organoleptic Profile
Appearance: Intense ruby red with faint violet reflections
Nose: Rich bouquet of red fruits, plums, cinnamon, black cherry, red rose petals, and white pepper
Palate: Soft, with a good balance between softness and alcohol content. Silky tannins and good freshness make it a wine of great pleasure
