The Teresa Manara Cantele is a large Chardonnay rodotto with Guyot-grown grapes in the territory of Guagnano (Lecce). The name of this wine derives from the homage that his son Augusto Cantele wanted to make to Mother Teresa Manara a strong and proud woman who crossed Italy in the years in which the enterprises were still reserved for men, with a temperament of which today they are soaked the most important selections of Chardonnay and Negroamaro from the Guagnano company. The harvest takes place in mid-August. After crushing and soft pressing, the must is cooled to 10 ° C in order to favor a natural clarification. The first part of the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the temperature is always kept below 15 ° C. The fermenting must is then placed in barriques where the fermentation is completed. At the end of fermentation the wine stays sur lies in French oak barrels for about 8 months.

Characterized by an intense straw-yellow color crossed tone on tone by green and golden nuances. Presents an initially spicy scent that opens like a fan, providing an olfactory range overflowing with floral and fruity smells. Acacia, the flower of the vine alongside the ripe and exotic local fruits. On the palate the taste is silky, velvety at the same time mellifluous, thanks to the fresh vein and the sweet spiciness of the woods used.
