The Verdeca IGP Salento wine by Agricola Felline is a white wine produced with verdeca grapes grown with spurred cordon in vines on land located in the Valle d’Itria area on the border with the land of Manduria. The processing in the cellar begins after the manual harvest of the grapes with a de-stemming, a soft pressing and a fermentation that takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature around 22-24 degrees. Finally, the wine ages for a few months in steel before being bottled and placed on the market.
This Verdeca is characterized by a beautiful golden yellow color. The nose is intense aromatic with floral notes and fresh fruit with citrus fruits that predominate. The taste expresses a good freshness supported by a touch of flavor and a medium structure. Persistent, on the finish it recalls almond and green apple.
Pairings: Excellent to uncork in company for fish aperitifs or alongside appetizers based on raw fish and crustaceans or to combine with spaghetti with clams.
