The Verdeca IGP of Cantina Petrelli is produced exclusively from Verdeca grapes grown in the countryside of Carmiano and Campi Salentina, and are hand-picked in the second ten days of September.
The grapes are then processed by soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. After the fermentation processes the wine rests for 3 months in steel and finally ends its refinement directly in the bottle.
This verdeca is presented in the glass with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, has a delicate scent of fried and Mediterranean scrub flowers, in the mouth it is dry, moderately acid with a good persistence.
Pairings: fresh and dry wine, excellent with seafood, fish salad.
