San Donaci Winery is located in San Donaci (Brindisi_Puglia/Italy). Among the oldest companies of Salento, it was founded in 1933 thanks to the entrepreneurial idea of ​​a group of 12 farmers. These, to develop the economy of their product and their land, founded what is now the Cantina San Donaci.

After the initial mistrust, the first founding members are joined by other farmers convinced, with facts, of the validity of the initiative. Over the years the company has reached a fairly large number of members. Today in fact there are about 300 members that allow the company to forfeit a number of grapes, which varies depending on the year, from 25,000 to 30,000 tons.

The cellar in step with the times uses the most modern technologies today. Instead, it maintains its historical peculiarity in the ageing phase. The latter takes place in the large oak barrels placed in an underground cellar of unparalleled charm and beauty.

San Donaci winery, due to its continuity and strong local roots, has made a strong contribution to the agricultural history of Salice Salentino, becoming an authoritative point of reference for Italian oenology.
