The new Cantina Francesco Taurino sas is the story of a company that resurfaces like the Fenice in 2017.

Francesco Taurino, the owner of the winery, has a life as a winemaker behind him. Son of that Cosimo Taurino who wrote the history of viticulture in Puglia together with Severino Garofano. Francesco grew up in the family business until his father died. Subsequently, after a forced and undeserved pause, Francesco and his son Cosimo Taurino Junior give life to a new independent reality.

The past enters by right into the new cellar and its products thanks to the teachings of Cosimo Taurino father. Teachings jealously guarded and implemented with love by Francis.

The vineyards are distributed between the municipalities of Guagnano and Salice Salentino. Negroamaro vines, cultivated with Apulian sapling and espalier, aged between 10 and 35 years.

Filifilori is the Cantina’s first label, an emblematic name given that it means “from father to son”. A red produced with 100% Negroamaro grapes that debuts with a bronze medal in the London Wine Competition.
