The Gianfranco Fino winery is based in Sava, province of Taranto (Puglia/Italy).

In 2004, Gianfranco Fino buys about 2 hectares of vineyard with 50-year-old Primitivo trees in the countryside of Manduria. A small piece of land that for Gianfranco must have unique characteristics. A very careful search of the ideal soil to buy. Subsequently, the company expands and leases more land.

Today the company Gianfranco Fino has 18 hectares of vineyards, small plots scattered between Manduria and Sava, a land suited to viticulture. All the lands are cultivated with Alberello Pugliese and have vines between the ages of 50 and 90, a characteristic which the company holds particularly.

In 2010 Gianfranco won the title of Winegrower of the year of the Gambero Rosso. A title that, until then, had never arrived in Puglia. Lead wine of Gianfranco Fino Viticoltore is certainly ES Primitivo di Manduria DOP. A wine that was able to immediately gather great consensus and attention. A wine presented at the G8 table of heads of state held in Aquila in 2008 and at the private banquet of Queen Margaret II of Denmark for her 70 years.
