Luca Attanasio’s winery is located in one of the most fascinating areas of the Alto Salento, between Sava and Manduria. This area, in the province of Taranto, is an area dedicated to the production of Primitivo di Manduria. The winery is family-run, the founder Giuseppe Attanasio and his sons Luca and Alessandro work there.

The Luca Attanasio winery is located in the town of Sava, in a late 19th-century building. Inside is the barrel room built in an ancient underground oil mill. Here are the French oak barrels for wine refining.

Luca, since 2000, has chosen to cultivate exclusively Primitivo vines. The company owns 6 hectares of vineyards of the Apulian sapling, half of which are 50 years old.

The vinification takes place respecting the ancient family traditions and directly following all the production phases up to the bottling. The ancient processing techniques in the vineyard and in the cellar are improved by modern technologies.

The winery currently produces only 15 thousand bottles, with a view to extreme quality and product care.
