Recent history sees Antonio Gianfreda as the protagonist, a synthesis of the knowledge of previous generations combined with the technical knowledge acquired during his studies in Conegliano Veneto.
Over the years, Antonio has given new impetus to the business that belonged to Cosimo, renovating and expanding his father’s cellar and increasing the marketing of wine for Northern Italy.
The construction of the current winery coincides with the beginning of a new phase of Jorche’s wine business and with the debut of its new wines. A modern architectural structure with state-of-the-art winemaking systems and constant product monitoring thanks to the company’s internal analysis laboratory. The wines rest in the silence of the new underground cellar, where the last refinement of the Primitivo takes place in large barrels, in barriques and partly in “capasuni” according to the ancient traditional method. Today in the fifth generation, Dalila and Emanuela dedicate themselves with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to the historic family business, as well as to the management of hospitality in the Masseria. Dalila takes care of the hospitality and commercial aspects of the winery, while Emanuela, following in the footsteps of her father Antonio, graduated in Oenology and Viticulture in San Michele all’Adige and is today the oenologist of Jorche. Together, the two Gianfreda sisters were the first in the family to bottle their wines, enhancing their brand and their territory, proudly exporting them to the world.
