It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura, looking at the extensive vineyard plantation, which he had earned, hectare after hectare, with sacrifice and dedication, decided to give new life to the fruit of his work, founding what would become one of the most important wineries in the Salento.

After almost 100 years of history, in which love for the land and care for the vineyards have been handed down as a precious legacy from father to son, crossing four generations, Mottura is today a leading company in Salento, a Italian excellence in the world for the production of quality wines.
