Vinicola Palamà is located in Cutrofiano in the province of Lecce (Puglia/Italy). Founded in 1936 by Arcangelo Palamà, the winery is now in its third generation of winemakers.
In 1988 the son of Arcangelo, Cosimo Palamà known as Ninì took over the management of the company. With him comes one of the symbols of Salento’s rosé wines, the Metiusco expression of Salento typicality.
Vinicola Palamà is a family-run company in which Ninì is always supported by his wife and his two sons, Giorgio and Michele.
Michele Palamà, after studying oenology at the Faculty of Piacenza, returns to Cutrofiano to directly follow the company. With him, in 2018 the new Ninì production line was born, dedicated to his father.
The vines cultivated are those native to Salento. Today, the Palamà winery produces 18 thousand bottles.
The wine emblem of the winery is METIUSCO rosé, defined by the American press as the best rosé in the world.
