INFORMATION ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
(pursuant to Article 49, paragraph 4, of Legislative Decree 21/2014)
You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without providing any reason, within 14 days from the day you or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by you, takes physical possession of the goods.
If you have purchased courses or events, the withdrawal period will begin from the day the contract is concluded, unless the right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree 21/2014. In any case, we invite you to consult the regulations related to specific courses or events prepared by the organizing points of sale, which may also establish different withdrawal rules. In the event of a conflict between what is stated in a regulation and what is stated in this notice, the regulation shall prevail.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order by means of a declaration to be sent within the aforementioned period by registered letter with return receipt to the following address: Salentowineshop SRLS, registered office at Via Galileo Galilei, 74, 73020 Cavallino (LE), Italy.
To this end, you may use the standard withdrawal form provided, or any other explicit written declaration of your intention to withdraw from the order, provided it is sent to the address indicated above in the manner and within the time limits specified.
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:
- orders of products placed by a customer who is not a consumer and/or requests an invoice;
- orders of products made to measure or clearly customized;
- orders of products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- orders of sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been opened after delivery.
With regard to the above-mentioned cases of exclusion of the right of withdrawal, you are specifically informed and acknowledge that products “liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly” include all food products (including wines, alcoholic beverages, and drinks) as well as cosmetics, since the characteristics and qualities of such products are subject to alteration even due to improper storage.
Therefore, for hygiene and customer protection reasons, the right of withdrawal applies only to products purchased on the website that can be returned to Salentowineshop SRLS and resold without any health risk to consumers (such as books, gadgets, kitchen utensils, etc.). In cases where the right of withdrawal is excluded, Salentowineshop SRLS will return the purchased products to you, charging you for the shipping costs of returning them.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract (except in the cases listed above where withdrawal is excluded), all payments made to us, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), will be refunded to you.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order, subject to our right to withhold the refund until receipt of the returned goods. Refunds will be made exclusively in your favor and using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, or if your payment was made by cash on delivery (in which case the refund will be made by bank transfer to the bank details provided by you). In any case, you will not incur any costs as a result of such refund.
Salentowineshop SRLS will fully bear the shipping costs for returning products in the event of exercising the right of withdrawal. To benefit from this free return shipping, you must wait to be contacted by Salentowineshop SRLS following your notice of withdrawal, to arrange for the return of the products to the courier designated by us, and you must return the products in the same box in which they were received. You are only responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
