NOTICE ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
(pursuant to Article 49, paragraph 4, Legislative Decree 21/2014)
You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you acquires physical possession of the goods.
If you have purchased courses or events, the withdrawal period shall begin on the day the contract is concluded, unless the right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, letter a), of Legislative Decree 21/2014. In any case, we invite you to read the regulations relating to the specific courses or events prepared by the organizing stores, which may also provide for a different withdrawal policy. In the event of a conflict between the provisions of a regulation and those of this notice, the regulation shall prevail.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order by sending a declaration within the aforementioned period by registered letter with return receipt to the following address: Salentowineshop SRLS, registered office at Via Galileo Galilei, 74, 73020 Cavallino (LE), Italy.
For this purpose, you may use the attached model withdrawal form, or any other explicit written declaration of your intention to withdraw from the order, provided that it is sent to the above address in the form and within the time limits indicated above.
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:
- orders of products by a customer who is not a consumer and/or who requests an invoice;
- orders of products made to measure or clearly personalized;
- orders of products that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- orders of sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection, or that have been opened after delivery.
With reference to the above cases of exclusion, you are specifically informed and accept that among the products “likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly” are included all food products (including wines, alcoholic beverages, and drinks) as well as cosmetics, since the characteristics and qualities of such products are subject to alteration even as a result of improper storage.
Therefore, for hygiene and customer protection reasons, the right of withdrawal applies only to products purchased on the website that can be returned to Salentowineshop SRLS and resold without health risks for consumers (for example, books, gadgets, kitchen tools, etc.). In the event of exclusion of the right of withdrawal, Salentowineshop SRLS will return the purchased products to you, charging you for the reshipping costs.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract (except in the cases listed above where withdrawal is excluded), all payments made by you to us will be reimbursed, including any delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your possible choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery type offered by us).
Refunds will be made without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order, without prejudice to our right to suspend the refund until receipt of the goods. Refunds will be made exclusively in your favor and using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise or your payment was made by cash on delivery (in this latter case, the refund will be made by bank transfer to the account details you provide). In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of such a refund.
Salentowineshop SRLS will fully bear the shipping costs for returning the products in case of exercise of the right of withdrawal. To benefit from such free return shipping, you must wait to be contacted by Salentowineshop SRLS following your withdrawal notification, in order to arrange the return of the products with the courier designated by us. You must return the products in the same box in which they were received. You are only liable for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
