MASSERIA MAIME Negroamaro Salento IGP – Tormaresca: Masseria Maime is a great red wine produced by Tormaresca (Antinori Group) with **100% Negroamaro** grapes from the vineyards of the Maìme Estate, located in a highly suitable coastal area in San Pietro Vernotico (BR). Grapes are harvested slightly overripe to enhance their phenolic potential. The wine is characterized by long aging of **12 months in barriques** of French and Hungarian oak, followed by an additional **12 months in the bottle**. The result is a **dry and elegant** Negroamaro, with a complex aroma of **violet, rose, black cherry, mulberry**, and spicy notes of **licorice, anise, cinnamon, and cloves**.

Thanks to this structure and the balance of tannins, Masseria Maime has excellent aging potential, capable of evolving for **6-8 years and beyond**, developing complex tertiary notes and elegant nuances.
