Story and Winemaking
This Primitivo di Manduria is produced in the Manduria area from 40-year-old bush-trained vines. The distinct “scattered berries” (ACINI SPARGOLI) cluster structure is crucial for quality, allowing faster maturation and greater concentration. Vinification uses indigenous and selected yeasts, followed by 7-8 days of maceration. The 10 months of aging in Allier barriques (used) and 6 months in the bottle provide the wine with complexity, structure, and well-managed tannins. Despite the high alcohol content, the result is an incredible balance between strength and majesty.
Organoleptic Profile
Color: **Intense ruby red**.
Nose: **Very fruity**, with aromas of **ripe fruit, blackberries, cherries, and jam** (typical of Salento Primitivo).
