Salento Winemaking

The name “Askos” comes from the Greek term for a 1st century BC “decanter.” This wine is part of Masseria Li Veli’s project to revive ancient Apulian native grape varieties. The grapes are manually harvested and vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged for 3 months in steel.
