Grecià Rosè Salento IGP is a rosé wine produced from Negroamaro grapes from the Paolo Leo winery, with grapes grown in vineyards cultivated with the traditional Apulian bush vine system located in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce in an area with a centuries-old wine-growing tradition, in the heart of Salento.
The manual harvest is carried out in the first hours of dawn, cooler and less humid, around the first decade of September. The grapes are de-stemmed, the crushed grapes are cooled and poured into a stainless steel tank where maceration takes place for about 8/10 hours. The must is clarified and fermented with selected yeasts at a low temperature to best preserve the aromas
Grecià Rosè has a bright pink color with vibrant reflections; the scent of raspberry and strawberry fruit is intense on the nose; In the mouth the taste is fresh on the palate, with good fullness and length. Pleasantly fruity aftertaste.
PAIRINGS:
Recommended as an aperitif, pleasant to taste alone or in combination with pasta, white meats and fish.
