LIBRANTE is the Primitivo di Manduria produced by the Le Vigne of Luca Attanasio winery. Produced in Sava, in the heart of the land of Manduria (Taranto_Puglia). The name derives from the Latin “Libra” that is scale, the symbol of justice.

The Primitivo plants used are grown in Alberello Pugliese and are around 60 years old. Luca Attanasio produces this incredible wine with extraordinary strength. LIBRANTE is a composed, rigorous, elegant and imposing wine. A wine that impresses with its complexity and linearity. Made with the knowledge and knowledge of the land handed down by three generations of winemakers who made the Primitivo di Manduria great. The harvest takes place in the second decade of September. The grapes are harvested by hand and placed inboxes. After destemming and crushing, the wine is macerated for about 15 days and fermented at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine is aged for a few months in steel and then aged for 12 months in barrique. Finally, its maturation in the bottle ends.

LIBRANTE is a Primitivo di Manduria with an intense garnet red color. The scent is characterized by hints of red fruit and small berries, chocolate and figs, accompanied by a pleasant spicy background. On the palate, it is rich, warm, deep, with enveloping fruity aromas. Good tannins and balanced freshness, great final persistence.
