FIVE ROSES Salento IGP Anniversary of the Leone De Castris winery is the emblem of Italian rosé wines. FIVE ROSES was the first rosé wine to be bottled and sold in Italy.
It is produced with Negroamaro and Black Malvasia of Lecce grapes from vineyards owned by the company located in the Salice Salentino area (Lecce_Puglia/Italy). The grapes after a soft destemming are subjected to pellicular maceration (T 7-10 ° C) for a few hours, followed by the extraction of the flower must (about 35%) and the subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature (18-20 ° C).
FIVE ROSES is characterized by a transparent vermilion colour. It has a clean, fruity, pleasant, fine fragrance. On the palate, it releases a full-bodied, velvety, warm and harmonious taste. To be served at a temperature of 10 ° C.
