LE CAMARDE is a red wine Negroamaro 80% – Primitivo 20%. The name derives from one of the oldest districts of the Guagnano fiefdom that is called Camarda. Here the Feudi di Guagnano winery has several vineyards of Negroamaro and Primitivo which together contribute to the creation of this superb wine. LE CAMARDE is a very successful bland between Primitivo and Negroamaro that demonstrates pleasantness and a balance out of the ordinary. It is a very complex wine that you immediately love from the first sip.

The harvest is done manually: for the Primitivo at the beginning of September, for the Negroamaro in the second decade of the same month. Once harvested, the grapes are taken to the cellar where they macerate and ferment for two weeks. The wine that is obtained is aged in French oak barrels for 3 months and then ends its ageing for a further 3 months in the bottle. LE CAMARDE is a wine that when young has a compact red colour with a sensory profile of ripe red fruit. Evolve in notes of liquorice, juniper and china. The tannins are soft and enveloping.
