History and Winemaking
This wine is Candido’s tribute to the versatile native Susumaniello grape. Grapes are harvested in late September and, once in the cellar, undergo a maceration period of about **ten days**. The wine is matured and aged exclusively in **stainless steel** and in the bottle, a process that emphasizes its varietal freshness and fruity profile without the influence of wood.
Organoleptic Profile
Appearance: Ruby red with light, youthful violet reflections.
Nose: Fine and consistent aromas of **ripe fruit** (plum, cherry, blackberry, currant, strawberry). Notes of **graphite**, aromatic herbs, and floral fragments follow.
Palate: **Seductive, warm, and sharp**. It expresses excellent **balance, structure, and softness**, supported by a composite yet almost polished tannic texture. Long and pleasant finish.
