Salento Winemaking

Produced from Primitivo grapes cultivated with the espalier system and the ancient Apulian “alberello”. The harvest takes place in early September. After crushing, the must remains in contact with the skins for 10-12 days. The wine ages in French oak barriques for about 12 months. It is a wine with an aging potential of at least 10 years.

Nose: Wild and impetuous. Scents of sour cherry, cassis, mint, laurel, cumin, sage, a hint of smoke, iron, vetiver, and Gargano orange

Palate: Enveloping, rich, and soft. It has an impressive structure, with an acidity that supports a remarkable tannic framework, never aggressive
