History and Winemaking
ANTIERI is produced with Susumaniello grapes hand-harvested during the second and third weeks of September and selected on a sorting table. Vinification, including maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature, takes place in stainless steel tanks. The defining phase is the aging of at least **12 months in French oak barrels**, followed by an additional rest of **6-9 months in the bottle**. This long aging period contributes to its complex and balanced personality.
