CALAFURIA Negroamaro Rosato Salento IGT – Tormaresca: Calafuria is the iconic rosé produced by Tormaresca (Antinori Group) using 100% **Negroamaro** grapes from the Maìme Estate in San Pietro Vernotico (Brindisi). It symbolizes the oenological renaissance of Salento, as it was a pioneer in challenging the renowned Provençal rosés. Vinification is carried out entirely in stainless steel at low temperatures to enhance its **freshness, elegance, and incredible fragrance**. It has a characteristic **peony pink color** and an intense yet delicate aroma of **peach, grapefruit**, and floral notes of **violet**. On the palate, it has a soft entry followed by pleasant **acidity**, excellent **acidic balance**, great **savoriness**, and good aromatic persistence.

Calafuria is the modern interpretation of Salento rosé, focusing entirely on elegance and drinkability. Controlled temperature vinification and the non-use of wood preserve the aromatic integrity and the crisp freshness of the Negroamaro. It is a wine that is best enjoyed **young**, ideally within the year following the harvest, when its freshness and marine savoriness are at their peak.
