CANTALUPI Negroamaro Rosato IGP Salento is a rosé wine produced by the Conti Zecca winery in Leverano (Lecce_Puglia). Produced with Negroamaro grapes cultivated with spurred cordon in vines on soils of alluvial origin, medium mixture with areas tending to limestone, in the territory of Salice Salentino (Lecce). The planting density is about 5,000 / 5,500 plants per hectare with a final yield per hectare of about 100 quintals of grapes / year. The processing in the cellar begins after the mechanized harvest of the grapes with a destemming, a maceration of about 12 hours and a soft pressing. Once the liquid part of the must has been collected, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 22-24 degrees. Finally, Maturation in concrete tanks coated with food epoxy resins for a few months and a little rest in the bottle before being put on the market.

CANTALUPI Negroamaro rosato is characterized by a vivid coral red color, with a rich and brilliant purplish reflection. The nose has a bouquet of ripe fruit and Mediterranean flowers. In the mouth the flavor is fresh, harmonious and savory. Ripe plum is appreciated

Pairings: Excellent with Italian and seafood appetizers, soups and first courses in general, fish soups, baked fish, white meats..
