METIUSCO is a white wine produced by Vinicola Palamà with Verdeca and White Malvasia grapes.

The name METIUSCO derives from gricanico’s term “I’m inebriated”. The Griko is the ancient language spoken in the Grecìa Salentina area of the Salento hinterland. An unusual white wine, characteristic of the Salento lands. METIUSCO is obtained from the vinification of Verdeca and White Malvasia grapes, with a slight over-ripeness on the plants that gives more body and concentration. The grapes used come from soils with a medium texture. Vine-growing is carried out by means of espalier and Apulian sapling. The wine is macerated, fermented and aged in steel tanks.

METIUSCO has a deep straw-yellow color. The aroma is intensely fruity. The taste is fresh and dry, warm, with particularly pronounced mineral notes.
