KALEMA Negroamaro Rosato Salento IGP is an extraordinary rosé wine produced by Azienda Agricola Fabiana of San Giorgio Jonico (Taranto_Puglia/Italy). Produced from Negroamaro grapes grown in the Faggiano countryside near the Ionian sea. The vineyards are located about 100 m above sea level with very high average temperatures and particularly low rainfall. The soils are medium-clayey.

The vineyard planted partly with the Apulian sapling system and partly espalier is composed of an average density of about 4500 vines per hectare. The average age of vines from 20 to 40 years. The vineyard offers an average yield of about 120 quintals per hectare. The grapes are harvested in the first decade of September. After harvesting by hand, the best bunches are selected and the grape stalk removed. Subsequently, it proceeds with a maceration carried out only for a few hours. This is followed by a partial drawing off of the must with soft pressing and then the process ends with a white temperature-controlled fermentation.

KALEMA Negroamaro Rosato has a pink colour with cherry reflections, an intense and persistent aroma, with hints of cherry and raspberry. On the palate, it is fresh and persistent.
