GALATINA Rosso DOP by Cantina Fiorentino in Galatina (Lecce_Puglia/Italy), is an organic red wine, produced exclusively from Negroamaro grapes grown in the countryside of Galatina. Traditionally the red wine produced with Negroamaro grapes has always been one of the most important wines produced in this area. For Salento culture, Negroamaro is the vine par excellence used to produce the best red wines. The soil on which the vine is grown which will then give the grapes to produce this red wine is medium-textured. The training system is spurred cordon with a yield of 80 ql per hectare and a total production of about 10,000 bottles/year. Vinification is a vinification in red with maceration and a controlled temperature fermentation. The wine is then aged in steel and in bottles.

GALATINA Rosso di Cantina Fiorentino is a clear red wine, of a ruby ​​red colour. The scent is intense, complex and fine. On the nose, fruity notes of mulberry and cassis are perceived, with floral notes reminiscent of violets and in the finish, slight balsamic notes are perceived. In the mouth, it is dry, warm and soft, with tannins well mixed with the body of the wine. It is a balanced wine with an intense and persistent taste.
