KRASI, whose name means “wine” in ancient Greek, is a red wine produced from 100% Primitivo grapes from the Alessandro Carrozzo winery.

The grapes are picked in the second ten days of September from the vines with 50-year-old plants owned by the company located in Magliano, a small fraction of Carmiano (Lecce_Puglia), a wine-producing town for centuries. The plants are grown on medium-clayey-calcareous soils with the classic Alberello Pugliese technique. After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed and then a controlled temperature fermentation is carried out. The wine continues with ageing in steel and then for 6 months in barrique to finish its maturation in the bottle.

KRASI is a ruby red wine, full-bodied, bright, balanced, which can excite with its character and strength, which however remains well balanced. The aroma is slightly fruity, with overtones of hints of fruit and vanilla. This wine lashes the palate without weighing it down and can give a warm, long and persistent satisfying sensation.
